A Note from the Unit Chair 5.26.23

We are not strangers to life’s challenges, but most recently it has been building to a level that will be testing many. We have had a fallen brother in Texas, that increased our already heightened concern for our safety and the direction it seems to be headed. Now we have a life changing situation that is affecting everyone throughout the yard, whether it is a direct impact or by impacting a brother or sister that you have worked alongside by side through thick and thin. As hard as it maybe we need to try our best to keep our eyes and minds on the task at hand. We have to make sure not to get sidetracked. Please help each other to stay mindful of the dangers we are still exposed to every day. Your intelligence, professional knowledge and abilities are your best tools to stay safe out there, so keep doing what you do best.

Stay Safe,

Unit Chair
